Spell Effect: The user is able to turn their scales on, covering their body in solid plates of stone that aren't as strong as their most optimal form, these scales allow the user to shrug off damage from certain attacks that are the proper rank, allowing the user to maneuver easier in the battlefield without risking bodily injury, it is your typically defensive spell otherwise and can stop 4 D Ranks, 2 C Ranks, or 1 B Rank before breaking.

Good spells. One problem

Bold Stance: Nah, you cant shrug off "Blunt" or "Cutting" damage. Make it so that it reduces D rank damsgr by 75% and C rank by 50%

Can you guys add that to the rules then? Cause all I did was go by exactly what the rules say. There is no way for me as a member to know that the reductions work in the manner you have described. Not complaining, just want to make sure this doesn't happen again lawl.

Alright, so apparently you can just "shrug" off blunt and cutting damage, just add in a duration to this spell along with the susrain and you're good.

How'd you get 3 C rank spells?

These are not starters, and being C Rank he can make as many C Rank spells as he wants. The only spell ranks that are limited to a set number are A and S Rank spells.

Did he buy the slots?

He does not need to buy the slots, as he is allowed 15 spells at C Rank. The only spells he has that are taking up slots are his starters--meaning he has 10 slots left for 10 spells of his choosing.

You only purchase spell slots to go beyond the spell allotment for your rank.
